It’s very exciting to see what’s going on in our market. We have seen double-digit gains in both sales volume and the total dollar amount of sales.
Real estate sales are up 15.8% from this time last year and our sales volume is up 17.5% from the same time last year.
Meanwhile, we only have three months of inventory available right now. That means if no new homes came on the market, it would only take three months to sell our current inventory. Last year, we had nine months of inventory, so things are really picking up and selling quickly.
There’s also been a 57% increase in residential building permits, so we’re starting to see a lot of new construction around the Grand Junction area.
