Today we’re wrapping up our agent spotlight series, and I’m happy to tell you a little bit more about Connie Tremblay and Jessica Meyer.
Connie is the CEO of the Mountain Coast Group and is a fourth-generation Coloradoan born in Brush and raised in Fort Morgan, small towns in the northeast corner of the state. She has a 23-year-old son and an 18-year-old son who she loves to go Jeeping, camping, and hiking with. She also loves playing video games, which she says is a little outside the norm for her age demographic.
Connie was originally licensed in 1995 and worked for a small independent company before relocating to the Western Slope. Since coming here, she’s worked at a small firm, opened her own firm, worked on a team for a major franchise, was a Keller Williams broker, went to Seattle to open a new office, and then came back to Grand Junction to help run the Mountain Coast Group.
When Connie first joined, we were still the Diva Team, but we went to ESO, which stands for expansion systems orientation. When we went to this training, Connie says, we realized this name would be a hindrance into other markets, so we changed to the Mountain Coast Group. This is because we’re in the mountains, and as we expand, we’ll get to the coast.
As Connie points out, buying a home is one of the biggest transactions many people will have in their lives, and she says her agents are phenomenal at following up with clients and making sure they get everything they need. If you have any questions for Connie, you can call her at 970-589-9468.
Jessica Meyer is a property manager for us here at the Mountain Coast Group. Jessica moved to Grand Junction from St. Paul, Minnesota in 2004 after graduating college in Milwaukee and getting a job in criminal justice. After two years, she got married and had three children: 9-year-old Jude, 7-year-old Ella, and 4-year-old Liam. Jessica was looking for a job, and luckily knew some people in real estate who helped her get a foot in the door.
Jessica says her favorite part of property management is that owners give her their property to take care of. She likes to think of it not like them giving her a handful of cash, but rather an investment, and asking her to help them protect it.
She really enjoys working with tenants because many of them think they can’t buy a home, but she’s able to hook them up with a lender who helps them find out how to buy a home. From there, we can help them get to a point where they can actually buy their first home. If you have any questions for Jessica or if you are interested in working with a property manager, you can call her at 970-244-9239.
